Wimborne Motor Cycle Club: Our Story
Wimborne Motor Cycle Club was established in 1963 by a group of enthusiasts from Flight Refueling. Their aim was to build a community around their shared passion for motorcycling and to bring competitive racing to the area.

A key moment in the club's history was the creation of our National Grasstrack meeting. Inspired by the vision of Ken Kenchington and Chris Maidment, the club set out to create a significant event. This resulted in one of the UK's longest-running National Grasstrack meetings. The first event offered a prize of £100, which highlighted the club's commitment to quality racing.
Today, Wimborne Motor Cycle Club continues to focus on promoting and organising Grasstrack racing. We're proud of our history and remain dedicated to providing well-run, competitive events for riders and spectators. We aim to offer a welcoming community for those who share our enthusiasm for motorcycling and Grasstrack racing.
